God's soft faith never let go. My hard truth couldn't push Him away.
The soft faith is God's — gentle, patient, and always reaching. The hard truth is mine — the sin, the stumbles, the seasons I'm not proud of. But He never left. Not once. I'm Tracy Kelley — an author and speaker with a huge heart, a gift for making people laugh, and two books that prove God can use any story and any season for His glory.
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.Romans 8:38–39
I'm an author, speaker, and AI educator who writes about faith, curiosity, and real life in a rapidly changing world. My books blend honest storytelling, biblical reflection, practical insight, and a healthy dose of humor for everyday people.
I have a gift for making complicated ideas understandable, relatable, and even enjoyable. I believe humor is one of the gifts God gave me, and it shows up in nearly everything I write. Whether I'm exploring faith, personal growth, or technology, my goal is always the same: to encourage people to stay curious, keep learning, and trust that they are capable of more than they think.
At the center of my life and work is my faith in God. I believe every opportunity to learn, write, teach, and serve is a gift from Him. Without Him, I am nothing — but with Him, all things are possible.
I also work full-time and understand the challenges of balancing career, family, faith, and personal growth. Much of what I write grows out of real life lived in the middle of all of it.
I live in Maryland with my husband Steve. Between us we share five daughters and two grandchildren who remain an important part of our lives and stories. When I'm not working, writing, or speaking, you can usually find me with a cup of coffee nearby, a notebook full of ideas, and a deep gratitude for the God who continues to guide my journey.
Most addictions have a name. Tracy's didn't. Her drug of choice was being chosen. This devotional memoir traces a journey through broken relationships, painful choices, and years of running — until the quiet voice of God said what had been true all along: You are already mine. Because the only jar worth leaving behind is the one you've been carrying to the wrong places.
Get the BookShe thought her husband lost his mind when he started talking to a computer. Six months later, she named hers Sunny and never looked back. This is the funny, faith-filled proof that God and technology can walk side by side — and that He can use anything, even a chatbot, to help you find your purpose. No tech degree required. Just curiosity, a sense of humor, and a God who never stops teaching.
Get the Book"Not your typical AI book, and that's what makes it so good. I expected this to be a book about technology. What I got instead was a story. Partnering with AI, Powered by Purpose walks you through how Tracy started using AI, why she kept going, and how it became something much bigger than just a tool. Along the way, you meet ‘Sunny’ — the AI she partners with, and somehow it all just works. What makes this book stand out is how naturally she weaves in her faith. It's not forced or overdone; it's just part of who she is, and it shows up in the details. And… it's funny. You'll learn, but you'll also laugh. It doesn't read like a manual. It reads like a real-life journey of someone figuring it out, staying curious, and finding purpose in the process. If you've been unsure about AI or think it's not for you, this book might just change your mind."
"More than a book — it's a place to meet God. I picked this up thinking it was a memoir, but it turned out to be so much more. The Woman at the Well and Me is both a personal story and a devotional you can actually write in, which makes it feel personal in a way most books don't. Tracy shares her life honestly, no pretending, no polished answer, and she doesn't excuse or soften her past. She owns it fully, without playing the victim, and that kind of honesty is refreshing. The connection to the woman at the well is simple and real, and before long, you start to see yourself in the story too. This isn't a book you rush through. It's one you sit with, write in, and come back to. If you're looking for something genuine that meets you where you are and gently points you back to God, this is it."
"A heartfelt read. This book was raw, honest, and genuinely heartwarming. The storytelling felt real and meaningful in a way that pulled me in from the start. I really appreciated how it showed the ways AI can help even the playing field for people who need support. It was a great read — thought-provoking, hopeful, and one that stays with you long after you finish."
I bring the real talk, the real laughter, and the real God to every room I walk into. Whether it's a women's retreat, a church event, a conference, or an AI workshop — I share my story so other women know they're not alone. My AI presentations are a fun, interactive experience where I team up with my AI partner Sunny to show real people what AI can do in the real world — even as it develops at lightning speed. You'll laugh, you'll learn, and you'll leave ready to try it yourself.
I'd love to bring my story and my heart to your community. Women's retreats, church services, conferences, luncheons — let's make it happen.
